Using the word TRANSFORM and the technique shown on the video, experiment with the letters to try and created the meaning of the word (transform means to change/alter).
Start working on paper to begin with and putting some of the ideas down just using a pencil and crayons (or fibre-tip pens).
You can set up an Illustrator file and use the type tool to set the text.
Use other techniques to TRANSFORM the word itself. Think about how to transform the word TRANSFORM, relating the transformations to the formal element words. (e.g. line, colour, tone, shape, space, form, texture).
Great. I think the hand drawn elements are very good. Don't forget to say what you think about your own work too! Just a sentence or two about what you think is working and how well you think you have done will add interest as well as showing that you are able to comment on and analyse what you do. Steve
